{f e a t u r e s}

The wool of this buttery shaded jacket is in excellent condition. Lined with a heavy and soft buttermilk satin. Inner tags are marked by the BHF. This indicates that the coat was made by fair labor, workers who paid a fair hourly wage and reasonable hours. It also aligns with when this board of protection came about in the late 1930s and dates this jacket between 1938-1945. The stitching throughout is expertly sewn and has held up as if new. The shoulders have a lovely pleating and an excellently clean black trim detail that still has it's sheen in the ribbon. Pockets are fully lined. Roman inspired buttons.
